If we discover the greatness of his love for all men and women of every age, then we will know that life is worth living, and better still,

that life is worth giving.”

---  Pope John Paul II (Olympic Stadium to youth, Montreal, Canada, Sep. 11, 1984)

Words spoken by Pope John Paul II, “...better still, that life is worth giving” come alive in the hearts of couples who adopt - couples who have prayed and prayed for a child - and then hold a new life in their arms through the wonder of adoption and love that baby the instant they touch - that tender kiss on their new child’s cheek instantly bonds them: FAMILY!

Joining parishioner and author Mary Lenore Quigley and her husband Patrick to share insights about the world of ADOPTION are three families: John, Corinne and Christina Grandinetti; Les, Cathie and Hannah Masters; and Geoff, Sara and Laurel Grace Tobias.

Please join us at this happy event! Meet and talk with the families. Listen to their stories. Hear Mary’s journey to find her own birth family. Their stories will touch your life in a special way.

Mary’s memoir, INDELIBLE INK, will be available for purchase.

Children's Book Store

8219 La Mesa Blvd., La Mesa CA 91941 (619)461-1400

This is a cheerful, inviting book store located in "The Village" of La Mesa.  Shoppers evidently were visiting larger shopping centers that day and missed a special  opportunity to listen to four authors of delightful children's books:

Kathy Foley read "Sprucie’s Christmas Dream" by Faith Berlin

Betty McElhatten with "Stringer and the Blue Bat Mystery"

Jennifer Kise and "The Birthday Surprise"

and Mary Lenore Quigley with "God Danced"

The children who came were thrilled and their joy and delight certainly made our day!

Thanks Deena!
